Comics for charity returns in support of Refuge RR and other locale animal welfare causes to Vankleek Hill May 18-19 on Main street which will be part of the May Show Arts Festival. Come and get a sketch done by Dale Eaglesham , buy some limited-edition posters, snatch up some mind -blowing deals on comics .....every single penny goes to charity . In case of rain it will be held at the Vankleek Hill community centre at 36 Mill street . Hours 10:00 am to 5:00 pm May 18 and 19 2013 .
So come and get your sketch, posters or comics for your collection or buy a one of kind special gift for a special person in support of Refuge RR .

Please join in and help make this hay drive a huge success , we need your contributions ! Refuge RR goes through an enormous amount of hay per month , our animals have free range quality hay , going hungry is a thing of the past for our dear rescue friends.

We would like to thank all our supporters , sponsors, volunteers and musicians for taking part at our fundraiser supper last night at Mon Village restaurant .It was a huge success, we sold out very quickly . Also big thank you to Bill , Claudia and staff for the wonderful meal and service . The evening was fabulous , food delicious and more prizes to give, raffle and auction than we could handle . It was really nice to see everyone come out and take a mid-week break and have a good time .
Looking forward to seeing you all at our next event.

Refuge RR just wants to thank Shari Harrison and her team for including us in their Lachine fundraiser on Sept. 16 th 2012 . They raised $ 244.00 for the animals.

Make sure you are all free and joining us at our big bash on Sept. 01 2012 at 7:00 pm in Glen Robertson, Ontario .Refuge RR will be joining force with Sea shepherds and having a huge fundraiser for our beloved mammals.The event is titled "Ocean Barn Bash "see our poster below, tickets are $ 10.00 at the door and event will host live music, bar, corn roast , silent auction, raffles etc.....You will have the opportunity to meet some exciting interesting people who devote their lives in making a difference in the animal world .You will also meet Bob Timmons the artist as well as activist for Sea Shepherds whom I believe will have some of his amazing art on display.So make sure you get the word out and come and party for a great cause , what better way to spend Labour Day weekend.... See ya there !

Come and take part in Dale Eaglesham"s 5th annual "Comics for charity"event.
When: May 19 th and 20 th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Where; Main street in Vanlek Hill, Ontario at the May show festival ( halfway between Ottawa and Montreal)
What; Autographed sketches, posters, very limited edition prints, raffle for a free sketch, comics and trades at bargain prices ....and a gorgeous little victorian town to explore.
Why; To support Refuge RR , a local animal sanctuary that cares for approximately 400 animals of all kinds ,including some 70 horses.
So come and have a look at Dale's art ,you will want to add one to your collection or perhaps offer one of his sketches as a gift to somebody special. It's a great spring festival with many other vendors and shops.
